Cade 1958 Benevol Account 7 July - Cont - Longspur, 1 Snow Bunting. 1445 - arrived at South Barrow Three. 1645 - turning around lakes just S of the well - 1 Pacific Loon nest, 9 Speckled Eiders, 1700 returning to Barrow 2 Parasitic Jaegers, 227, 387 Steller's Eiders 1900 back at ARL. Totals of birds seen: Red phalwope - 63 (one way) Longspur - 7 (one way) Snow Bunting - 4 (one way) Pectoral Sandpiper - 12 (one way) Semipalmated Sandpiper 15½ (one way) Baird's Sandpiper - 3 (one way) Golden Plover - 1 (one way) Northern Phalwope, 6 (one way) Cloucous Bell - 6 (one way) Sabine Bell - 2 (one way) Parasitic Jaeger - 9 (both ways) Jaeger unidentified - 2 (both ways) Dunlin - 11 (one way) Other species not totaled here.
