T. Cade 1957 General Account 8 August Jago Lake Ran the traplines and checked the mist-nets between 0900 and 1200. The mist-net along the river caught one tree sparrow and one wheatear. The net at the upper lake caught 4 redpolls and 4 Savannah sparrows and 1 shrike, which got away when I arrived. Sky bright and clear all morning and afternoon, with just a few small cumulus clouds cover the high peaks. Ran the traplines and mist-nets again in the evening. Sky continued clear all day - little or no wind - hot 20+° August Jago Lake Ran the traplines and checked the mist-nets in the morning and prepared some specimens. Took up the traps on T2 but left those on T1 out for another 24 hours since no mouse has yet been caught on it. Finally got the 22 - ,410 in working condition: both barrels fine gear Sky mostly clear again with some cumulus clouds between 1200 and 1700 - Still and warm - up to 24°C.
