J. CoDe 1957 General Account 31 July Point Barrow report that they had seen fewer Snowy Owls on the tundra back of the Barrow installation. August Point Barrow In the lab all day processing specimens from Pitt Point and Wainwright. August Point Barrow Making plans for ca 3 weeks at Jago Lake. Spent the day getting gear, food, and equipment ready. 3 August Barrow-Uniat c4. Left Barrow at 1300 in Virgil's newly rebuilt Super-46, very plush, for Uniat, where we will meet Andy on 4 or 5 Aug to bush-whack into the Jago camp. Arrived Uniat 1420. Andy came in from Bettles around 1830 and went out again to pick up part of the party on the Sagavaguestik. He came back in around 2130 with John O'Sullivan and Jim Drew. August Uniat-Jago Lake Andy went back to the Saga around 1000 to get Shank and Kobanda, and Drew and O'Sullivan waited on to Barrow around 1030 in the Super-46. Andy et al. returned to Uniat around 1200. The
