Cade 1957 General Account 29 July Pitt Point soil - nearly all microorganism - is taking place. Most interesting set up for study of vegetative succession. At the river I turned N E to follow the stream forwards towards its mouth. At 1310 I was again at the USBS marker east of the airstrip and at 1430 I was back in camp. At 2300 went out to view traplines again and back at 0015 on 30th. Overcast all day with mist and intermittent light rain in the morning, becoming more rainy and windy in the evening. July Pitt Point Plan the traps in the morning around 0900 and again in the evening, taking them up, around 2100. Overcast all day and raining in the afternoon and evening. Spent most of the day writing up notes. Pitt Point - Barrow Left Pitt Point in indelious cessa 180 about 1430 and arrived Barrow at 1530. Spent rest of day unpacking and catching up on Barrow happenings. John Campbell came in from field trip with some English girl out of Dooling's lab to
