9 July - Colville R - Uniat
1807 - At the coal seam cliff on neght
bank opposite Uniat.
1820 Arrived at the Uniat dump landing
on left side of river.
I walked in to get the truck
while Pete dismantled the boat.
Sky overcast all day with infrequent light drizzle.
10 July, Uniat - Barrow
May Brewer, Harry Brewer
and Henry Tsoorak came in with
Andy from the Fago River around
0930. I packed up my animals for
shipment to Barrow, and we all left
on the Wien plane which came in
at 1030. Spent the rest of the day at
Barrow unpacking, receiving and
catching up on the local information.
11 July, Barrow, Alaska.
Spent the day writing letters and
catching up on notes and making plans
for next trip to Point Lay.
12 July, Barrow, Alaska
In and around the lab all day. Gave
a seminar in the evening on Peregrines
and gyrfalcons and falconry.
