Coke 1957 General Account 8 July - Colville R. this cliff - got turned around backwards in swift water trying to make a landing, also had trouble here with the starter cable on motor. 2050 Stopped at the 1956 gap - cliff on right bank ca' mile below Double Knife edge Bluff. 2145 Left this site and on down river. 2300 Stopped to camp on gravel bank on left side of river. Sky became overcast again in early afternoon with drizzly, big rainy mud, at the time. Wind still westerly but quieter. Drizzle continued all night - wet camp! 9 July - Colville R. 11/15 Left camp #2 for the last lap of the trip. 1300 Stopped at the last left bank cliff before Uniat. 1455 Left this site and on down river. 1550 At record to last big cliff on right before Uniat. 1627 Left this site and on down river. 1700 At last big cliff on right before Uniat. 1745 Left this cliff.
