28 June, Uniat
Took up traps on T6, 6 and 8 in the afternoon. Set out traps on T10 and looked over T2. Also set 2 squirrel traps on the outcrops above T10. Weather overcast all day with light rain in the evening.
29 June, Uniat - Ran T10 in the morning and set out traps on T2 in the early afternoon. Sky overcast all day with little or no wind. Tedrow and a companion, chairman of his department, came in on the north bound to fly over to Michelman tomorrow. They came in in the early evening. Ran the lines in the evening and set out 31 live traps in the disturbed areas on either side of T6 - hope to get M. oecomones to take back to Barrac.
30 June, Uniat
Ran the trap lines and the live traps in the morning. Caught 2 live M. oecomones. Between 1200 and 1400, made a trip in the weasel up to the top of Uniat Mt. and return. Ran the trap lines and the live traps again in the evening and made plans with Andy to fly receiver tomorrow. Caught 2 more live M. oecomones in the same two traps as this morning. Weather! mostly clear all day, turning to cloud over in the evening,
