14H2 - Take off from Barrow on wheels - with skis.
Flying at 100+ miles per hour 300-400 ft alt,
following close to coast over land to Wainwright.
1457 Passing Skull Cliff - tundra noticeably clearer
of moss west of here. -93% of ground exposed as
against about 50% east of Skull Cliff. Ground
mostly high center polygon with some tussocks
1511 Passing Liz C - inland of it
1533 Landing at Wainwright - let off our gear
and refueled for trip to Beaufort.
1549 Take off on skis from sea ice going to Beaufort
following the coast several miles inland.
Same speed and altitude as previously.
1616 passing inland of Liz B
1617 crossing over Break River into gentle rolling
country with high center polygons and tussocks
1620 crossing over A to Keek River
1635 crossing over Kothlik River inland of Liz 2
1640 following coast just SW of Liz 2
1641 crossing over Epstey/le River
1643 crossing over Kelpersonk River
1649 flying over a lagoon offshore
1655 now back over coastline
1706 passing over Liz A at Cafe Beaufort
1714 Over Agiok Lagoon - one of the possible landing
places. The sand spit did not look good at this
