Cade 1956 Weather and Phenology 23 July - clear and warm all day up and down the river. Some haze. 24 July Savicvik - clear and hot. Some wind in afternoon from E. Tending to cloud up in late evening. 25 July - Strong E wind ca 0400 dying down in eleven hrs. Bright and clear all morning - some fog on western horizon in of afternoon. Tending to cloud up in evening with stratocumulus visible on W & S horizons. 80°F. max 26 July - bright and hot all morning - strong westerly wind in early morning tending to lessen around 1200. 84°F.max. at Uniat - broken clouds - dark, no wind. 27 July - Overcast all morning, tending to break up with some rain in early afternoon. No wind. morning 28 July - partly cloudy all day with some wind. 28 July - mostly overcast with moderate westerly wind in afternoon 29 July - overcast all day with intermittent rain and strong westerly wind, dying down in the late afternoon. Overcast continuing to 2400, 30 July - Mostly clear all day with light wind from NE - tending to cloud up some in evening. 31 July - Overcast and intermittent rain all day. 1 August - mostly overcast all day with some intermittent breaking of clouds. Rain and snow, the latter melting as soon as hit ground. 2 August - mostly clear all morning with scattered cumulus cloud. Tending to slight overcast in early afternoon with wind picking up from west. Mosquitoes noticeably less numerous than at mid-July. 3 August - intermittently overcast all day with some light rain in the evening 4 August - overcast all day with rain more or less continuous.
