Cade 1954 Weather and Phenology 9 Upper Oslamnogovik R. 30 June Cobrill R., ca 10 miles above mouth E tributary Overcast when I arrived with light rain off and on. Continued until late evening. Tending to clear northwest about 2400. Norwist to light wind from NE(?). Plants up here are abundant far progressed as at Umist. Noticed some stands of Ledum in full bloom. Also Vaccinium beginning to bloom. 1 July Broken clouds - mostly sunny all day with little or no wind. Good traveling weather. Epilobium on gravel bars is just beginning to blossom. Large stands of blooming Lupine on the steep slopes. The little yellow Pea'celia is blooming. 2 July Broken clouds - mostly sunny, northerly wind. Tending to cloud up again in the evening with light rain beginning about 2300. Solid overcast then. 3 July Broken and scattered clouds most of the day tending to clear again in the late evening. No wind. Papaver sp. blooming on gravel bars. 4 July Clear until ca 1000, when storm started coming up from S. Strong wind from S-SE beginning ca 0800. Rain - light but pretty steady from 1200 - 2400. 5 July Overcast with intermittent light rain and wind from 0000 to ca 0600. Clearing from
