Cade 1956 Weather and Phenology 19 June Light rain and some snow during early morning, turning to fleeces of large snow flakes at 1100 - melting as soon as hit the ground. Temp. at 1200 = 4.6° Continued overcast all afternoon with light drizzling rain. Overcast and moist continues into the late evening. Temp. at 2345 = 3.5°C. Sky appears to be breaking up at 2400 20 June Partly cloudy skies during most of the day with little or no wind. Tending to cloud up more toward evening. A lot of the cotton-ridge blooms are now shedding pollen. 21 June Partly cloudy in the morning with clearing skies in the afternoon - weak - but clouding up again in the evening with complete overcast by 2200. 22 June Began raining about 0100 and continues off and on all morning, with a brief snow flurrying at 1200. Temp at 1130 = 4.2°C. Light wind from NNE. Intermittent rain continues in the afternoon - through evening to 2400. 23 June Sky tended to clear some in the early morning with brief sunshine between 0900-1200, Solid overcast again in the afternoon with rather hard rain beginning at 2100 and continuing to present (2200). No wind. Temp at 2200 = 2.0°C and rain has just turned to snow - large flakes.
