7. Cade 1956 General Account 23 June Uniat, Alaska - Retived at 0230 and got up at 0945. Ran the trap lines between 1000 and 1230. Skinned specimens in the afternoon, and then ran traps again between 1830 and 2100. Skinned some more and wrote notes in the evening. 24 June Retived at 0100, up at 0900. Ran trap lines in late morning, cleaned up hut, washed cloths and worked on the weasel in afternoon. Ran traps again in the evening. Ben went with me and shot a caribou. They have been moving along the ridge in small groups the last few days. 25 June Erected Shanks, John Kovanda and their party at 0145. They are headed out to the Sagam ountain to K Rivers to botanize. I helped them with their gear and lodging for the "night." Andy, the gilot from Bettles, flew them over in 3 trips. Ran the traps in the late morning. Skinned in the afternoon and wrote up notes. Rod telegram from Webster saying he would arrive Anchorage today. Don't know what gives with Air Force support. Ran T1 & T3 for the final time in the evening and took up the traps. Skinned some more in the late evening. 26 June Retived at 0030 and got up at 0900. Set out traps on T7 in the late morning. Could not find the last 100 ft of this line. Wrote up notes in the afternoon,
