Cede 1956 General Account 19 June Ran lines again in the evening, and after supper read a- while, wrote letters and notes. 20 June Retired about 0200 and got up at 0900. Ran the trap lines, then had breakfast. Prepared specimen and worked on the weasel in the afternoon. One of the bogie wheels has slipped its rubber coating, and I tried to straighten it back on, but it would not stay. Will have to replace that wheel soon. Ran the lines again in the evening. Spent part of the evening with Vrien boys - getting gas for the weasel and oil for heating my hut. 21 June Retired at 0345 and got up at 0930. Ran the traps, etc., skinned and wrote up notes in the afternoon. Picked up traps from T2 and T8 in the evening. Will put them out on T5 and T7. tomorrow. 22 June Retired at 0330 and got up at 1100. Spent early afternoon skinning and writing up notes. At 1700 went out to T6. Found the last 300 feet still covered by a snow bank, so changed plans, and went up on the hill to T3 and set out traps. Then established a new line (T1) further in from T3 - in a ravale between the forks of a small drainage system. The ground cover is essentially the same as T3 except that there are scattered alders 1½-2 feet high occurring along most of the line.
