Cade 1956 General Account 15 June Ran the traps again in the evening, and after a late dinner, skinned some more. 16 June Sat up reading until late - retired at 0446 and got up at 0900. One of the Vien men brought up my two Kalomagoo boots and a pressure cooker, which arrived on plane last "night." Ran the transects, and after late breakfast, spent the afternoon skinning. Ran traps again in the evening, at late dinner, and skinned some more. 17 June Retired at 0100 and got up at 0930. Ran traps, at breakfast, and spent early afternoon writing up notes of last two days. Took down vegetational and topographical details of T-42 T-6 during this morning's runs. In the evening I took up the traps on T-H & T-6. 18 June Retired at 2400 got up at 0930. Spent rest of morning and early afternoon getting a wig together for sampling faovage utilization. Made a test run of 15 samples on the strip of brush west of ARI, best where M. micivorus occurs. Did not get any positive evidence of faovaging. In the evening I set out traps on T2 and T8, and while at T2 went over by the oil well to see if the persquies were still there. They were. Got back late and had dinner. 19 June Retired at 0330 and got up at 1000. Immediately ran trap lines, had breakfast at 1300, and spent afternoon skinning and writing notes.
