Cade 1956 General Account 11 June cont. Redpolls, for instance, do not seem abundant, neither do longspurs. I did not see a tree sparrow, all day long, nor a robin, or white-crowned sparrow. I have not seen or heard a snipe. These were all very conspicuous in '52. 12 June Got up at 1000 and fixed breakfast. Went out at 1100 to locate the other three troop lines. Got across Sea Bee Creek at west end of air field with no difficulty. The water is high, and I had to float the wears a few feet in midstream. Found T-5 about 1200. It is marked by test stakes. I tied red wraps to some of the 100 foot interval markers from 600 ft on to end, their line is covered by a bank of snow. I took a photo of it from the beginning stake looking down the line. Located T-7, which is all clear of snow and with no large patches of melt water. It is marked by test stakes also. I put red wraps on some of them and took a photo at stake 0. Then went up the hill to find T-3. Had a hard time locating it. Wandered around in wears clear to top of the high ridge which separates headwaters of Sea Bee and Beaspoon Creeks. Found good place for additional plot. Returning down hill, I acci- dently came upon the markers for T-3. It is well marked with test stakes and smaller sticks. Some
