Knobbly upper surfaces
indicating plant growth.
- 1st structure of sand
gone - none apparent.
Rooty horizontal x possible
branch fragments found
lowest of 3 Neurophryton levels
Trunks were found in silt,
w/ roots extending down
[illegible] Trunks surrounded
by sand.
Forests burned by shifting
tidal channels &
nearshore bar sands
during oscillations.
