Stop 9, Gilboa Bridge Just below Gilboa Dam Fossil Trunk Exhibit Old quarry and creek bank Thick channel sands w/ Knobbly upper surfaces indicating plant growth. - 1st structure of sand gone - none apparent. Rooty horizontal x possible branch fragments found lowest of 3 Neurophryton levels Trunks were found in silt, w/ roots extending down [illegible] Trunks surrounded by sand.
