Friday August 5-1910 Talle Head. A dark day with constant rain all afternoon. Spent the morning at Talle Head in Division N zone 2 where Toothfjel entered a cratoline like arch and found Entire specimen of Ampyxze and Blacrus. Trilites are not abund- ant but good. I collected in a dark nodular limestone outside zone O1. that had an abundance of trilites in fragments and an occasional Brachiopod, but Ampyxze Agnostus, Maenus, Rempleurides, Bathgurus, ostracode Cyclopina?, Orthocera? and an elongate Lingula. There are other species, but a large lot. In the afternoon returned to Talle Head and went east around it until we came upon the Lependitta bed making the upper part of zone 11. Collected a fair quantity of this material as it was better than that of Point Riel.
