Why is not this red shale a sediment deposited in the
bottoms of the Asphalte floor and upon which later Asphalte flowed?
If this Basalt turns out to be like that of the Cauc, it is not
pre-Lilunic in age. If it is Cauc, maye the question arise if it
faulted against the Asphalte? In this event the Lilunic lies in a
"graten".
