"The section begins with the lowest observed strata on the left side of the East arm of Bonne Bay at a point just north of the main power saw mill. Ascent was made of the small brook in a distance of perhaps 1/4 mile but in this distance the series was determined as an ascending one. [For whatever reason I saw any Laurentian grains here as may seen by Richardson, on the fire side of the brook] Once more given if the grains lay about a than usual and we assume that it is close by but the joint is absent.]
