A total of 63 feet above the bottom li. There is probably a
small thickness of strata beneath the lowest quartzite and above
the "bottom" layers in the interval between the east of the river mouth
which was very broad.
This section falls into the one measured on Monday from
camp along the south shore but is entirely different from what we
saw on Forest River. This confirms my belief that the
Forest River section was below the "bottom" layers,
All of these Beardmoretown strata are older than those of Keppel
Island, partly Middle B.
