1905 August 31-1918 Saturday, Curling. Rested today. Tyrell, Denton and Edwards turned up with the boat at 6 P.M. They climbed the mountain in North Arm that time to find the meteorite but another good sight spot. Then I had a long talk with Tyneel about the cost of the trip. He agreed that Edward pay Edwards at the rate of $75 per month and Denton at $100. Also that I charge him with $100 to pay for the extras of my publication when it is out as far a town hence. He also added that any he be could help towards paying some of the cost of my publication, and that if I got into trouble over it to let him know. But I had better be independent of him in this matter. Lemons is to store the boat for Tyneel and to put it back again in the water after wanted for $30. Tyneel will pay this cost and as well Mr. Thorne for the provision purchased for the meteorite trip during the past three days. Tyneel gave me an account of $100 in cash, handed him from me. In 3 to 4 weeks he would be home and then I will pay my fee. 5th tickets Curling to Boston each $39.12 and checked on baggage, 5 packages through to Boston. Also my big suitcase.
