This is the common Sand Fossil.
"Productus semiriculates oneranti": The same at Drindon
Orbiculiden large form
Orbiculiden small form
"Teretratula sacculus": Not exactly like Brinson form.
Like the one I have.
"Corularia planipetata" Fine square form. Much larger
than Brinson form but returns like it,
"Strophomena analoga" = Productus of the era type.
Specimen smaller 3/4 inch.
"Ariculpectan lyelli" Looks like Dr. forms.
"Productus undatum" At Drindon. The small ones
can be like form
Pelecypoda commm. Maerodus, Lena lis, etc.
A number of species. Ariculptetan
"Alphacnella pleurodora" A form reminding some
of Brains "A. orbitii"
"Pleurotmaria" Have one
Ganutilus. many forms. Just the Drindon form-
I have no doubt that this horizon is the equivalent
of the Drindon limestone and gypsum beds, of Area
Bostia. There are fewer species here and as a rule
they are larger than at Brindon. No corals in
this Larn series. It is probable therefore that the
Pennsylvanian lies directly on the Drindon series.
