Notes on Howley's Collection. Aspidella slates Crochane strata Also Ferryland, I saw them on the street above Crosbie Hotel. Mine are from Henry Strait. The Middle Cambrian Paradoxides from St. Mary's Bay in Branch seem to be abundant. There are here several large entire ones but all are more or less crushed. In this they remind of those of Braintree, Mass. One (minus a tail piece) is nearly one foot long. Other entire Paradoxides from Fortune in Fortune Bay Another P. Kennettii much drawn out sideways from Lancelot Island. Another large pyramentary one from Longbois Island. Great Bell Island for Crugiana and Lejulella and Dhaerbolus. Cugiana very fine the Kelly Island fossils appear to be all of fugurids.
