Transcription
The gypsum occurring on the eastern side of Romaine river is about 60 feet thick. I have some samples. It is undulating thin reddish greenish sandstones having traces of plant remains (more fibres than stems). (See Stanley's Rep. in Winnipeg Mental, p. 65) Added the box from the Brands to one former shipment to go via the Stanley to St. Albert, so that the sale lot now has four boxes instead of three. Stopping again at Petrie Hotel at Biddy Cree.
