Sunday July 24 - 1910. Anse au Loup.
Another grind on and foggy day ahead. Apparently
we are bound for another day,
Into a little to Rose.
About noon concluded to tally the steamer home
to Flaman Core. We expected her by noon or
soon after but due to the dense fog she did
not arrive until 6 P.M. Mr. Barney took us out
to the steamer. Although it is only 10 miles across
to Flaman Core we go over as far as Planche Jallon
and then across the Straits. Fare @ 2£. The
Steamer is a small one and yet of considerable size.
Appears to be a comfortable boat. Expect to fit
to Flaman Core in the morning.
The elder Mrs. Barney has also come aboard
to go to Fortiam for a few days,
Monday July 25 - 1910 Flaman Core.
We lay until morning (about 4 A.M.) at Anse au
Loup due to the fog and then started westward in it.
At 7.30 we are at Planche Jallon but on account of the
fog can not see the shore.
We lay in front of Flaman Core from 10 to 11.45 on
account of the fog and are then moved ashore fully
two miles. Set on shore at 12.30.
Puts at Mrs. Normans trading house.
