June 27 - 1910 New Haven. Left New Haven at 11.54 for the summer trip to Grandmoundland. Left Boston at 3.46 where I met Eastman. He took me to see Henshaw and to Fall on Hilland and the Pal, etc. Mr and Mrs Eastman then took me to dinner at the Hotel Napoli and at 7.30 left on the Boston and Maine for the Provinces. June 28 - 1910 On train. Had upper berth. Set up at 6.30 before getting to Bancroft on the boundary line between the U.S. and Canada. Had breakfast at one Adams at 8.15. Left St Johns N.B at 10.10 and had to await until 12.45 for the train to New Glasgow. Set here at 10.30 p.m. and put up at the Vendome Hotel. Rain all day June 29 - 1910. New Glasgow. Left at 12.20 for Merigomish. Met Williams here and together we returned to the train to get to Grandvale. Looked at the rocks around Grandvale and saw the Basel
