Mr. Leigh (introduced to me by Prof Olag) talked to me about looking over his office records on the Carr.-Permian unit deep- son. to help discovering old lands and other lands. Also to look over all the well logs, field notes, and in fact all the office records. In a monthly service he thought he could give me $2000. Still his Jenid not say that I could give him the desired expectation be- cause I might make it to pay it. This he said he understood we was ready to settle the matter. His Company is one of the large independant ones operating from Kansas into Oklahoma and Central and western Texas. If this plan goes through Jarris have to do considerable work at Den Dover in adjusting my maps.
