Houston, Texas Feb 26 1936 left Austin at 10.40 for Houston. Got in the Pull. man at 10 P.M. and went to bed. Felt sick. Arrived on time at 6.40 A. M. and was at Rice Hotel a little after 7 A.M. Found a fine room ready for me, engaged by De Wolf. Called on De Wolf and Leachne of Humphreys Co, Then in Baker's had lunch with him at Union Club. Then called on H. Booth, but was not. His Edithon at home sick. Then tried to find Patterson but could not locate his office. At 3 P.M. was sent better to Austin. Club Town and family of no craft.) D.S.
