"Jan 15 1926 to Midway read about 10 miles S.E. of Austin. with Mr Leachman. First found J Chapso (Cret) or Exogard and etc. Blue day land 40 far high from my cattery. On the S. land for little straw this place is about 11 miles S.E. of Austin Then went 8 miles further to J L Cadwells gap and then 2 or 3 miles N across farms to a room to see the fire Midway marine post locality. Then 2 miles further SE to around that goes N. to tanks of gypsum in the Hilerys.
