It may be that in these cases a gas pipe chuckle and filled with carbonum will do the work. Coal sections, very difficult to make and to retain all the chemical elements of the coal must be found in oil, what kind of oil I did not find out. As the oil destroys the Canada Balsam this is overcome by making about a half and half mixture of ordinary Xylene and Canada Balsam. This effectively holds the thin sections.
