#4000. A very fine one but cost entirely too high to illustrate the merits of the grand. The grand foyer is a large 75 x 200' room. 24 large pillars in serpentine. Floor inlaid in decorals marble. Ceiling dome in gold having taken $1400 for leaf. Four golden candelabras at doors under gallery. Walls under gallery inlaid marbles. Simply a grand as any reception hall. Very fine but unused.
