The door courts are faced with glazed tiles to give fine lights for the inside windows. The consequence is that all the cases from 3 sides are mirrors and one is constantly aware how to see the exhibits. No sky line to cases in centre frame of all heights, sizes and widths. Cornice / some cases this All cases with Tennenman marble bases. Shelf holders like this no good. All paint supported by upright struts. Very objectionable, Art stay enough. How would it do to have natural history ex- hibition rooms like art galleries with the lights from top. Here at the Carnegie Institute the art galleries have top lights. The glass is wired glass in square of 30 inches in size (they frame). The action of 1 corridor to make 3 flat 1 row.
