Albion, New York. Can get here by ferry from Rochester & Lockport. Also out of the way and cheap. Medina is a quarry, castle town about 1/4 to 1/2 miles. Plenty from Red Sandstone, Iron ore & red soft shale, but only railway and quarry. About 40 feet thick. Near the top occurs Althis- Phycus archimedes. Neither top or bottom is here seen at Albion.
