usually bare land plants and me fool [illegible] and led a duty coal mine 6 miles thick. A trade of marine fossil has been cited here. Lepidodendron conyatum is the guide fossil although Dujyn has 70 species. Old lists do not have more 20 to 30 species. This flora seems to be the correlate of the Horton. Then follows helms the very thick Catskills, again a just red shale draym and greenish sandstones. The flora is [illegible] from that of the Pocono and is said like the Wrose flora. Dujyn has gotten here Arenmites and we got a coal case attached. I did not see this formation except at a distance.
