At the top of the Ridge occurs Estapus in the regulation cleared way. Bos are the way to the bottom of the hill in Strindstuey, I do not know if I am on the (nig S & M R.R.) At the station Strindstuey, on the Chesquahanna R.R. limestone may be seen the Onondaga. It has many erinoid stems, Spirifer durderaria, Chonetes mucumata, C., I see kind of Jaffrety and mud chert, Estapus On the top of the hill I thought to air transitional shales to the Onondaga limestone. About 1/2 mile east of the station may be seen Estapus with an abundance of Cardia Balli, Lechs stand very vertical here, dipping down to the east. At about 1 mile east or just east of electric power station house maybe seen the heavy bedded conglomeratic and cherty Ordian standing vertical, and if about 50 feet in thickness. On it rests without transition to Cardia Balli. At the very top of the Ordian may be seen an abundance of I. durderaria, Liacutiphicata, blunder elle demurgerson fordona, and small Calmanella a Philipimella.
