July 1 - 1900 Left Washington on Federal Expy. 4.30 P.M. Made the company to Boston of Mrs Patterson and son. July 2-1900 Arrived on time in Bostm at 7 A.M. Had breakfast at the R.R. terminal. Called at Mss. Gmg Jory, saw no one but left cards for Jackson & Eastman. Also left a card at Prof. Dr. Mat this for Orgatt. Did not get into Public lit, had lunch called them at 1 P.M. after which the steamers Boston, had left 63. Many of the Cuban traders had arrived at Stamford, then is great discrepancy of say among them but many arriving from the Spanish location then at Washington. Left Boston at 2.15 P.M. on steamer ship Boston for Yarmouth. Wind very light with no sun or fog on. July 3-1900 Arrived at Yarmouth about 7 A.M. Left at 9.30 arriving after a very slow journey about 6 P.M. at Portland, shortly after I registered at the Victoria Hotel. Mrs Russell also registered on this trip.
