Also for a short distance into series C. July 14 Arisaig. Saturday Collected all day along Dr. Chasms brook and in the fields to the N.E. A thunder storm with mixed rain came up at 3 P.M. Then called on Dr. Ami at Johnny Joe MacDonald's. Yesterday I had a talk with Dr. Ami on the 2 Dr aspect of the Arisaig but could not get him to commit himself. To- day Clarke had a talk with him on the same subject and he admitted the Arisaig to be the equivalent of the Ludlars but only the Lower Felders grp. He repeated this again in my leaving. Yesterday he appeared to think that the Upper Ludlars are more Felders- by some effervescent deposits. For the teleports which give the Aris- ai grp D its peculiar falmler aspect. They are the common fossils but the species are quite numerous.
