The day is bright but my minds Both this morning and this evening the high hills back of Pierce can be seen very clear even the bridge of St. Anne on the top of the mountain. This morning the Ouraillies, especially Red Top, were easily seen. Gordon enjoyed the day. Grand Greve Aug. 14 - Monday [D2541] Walked down to the light-house with Gordon and tried to collect along the road side but the wind and some rain was too strong and cold to do effective work. About the light-house at Ship Head Point one can find but few fossils. I did add nothing of importance to my section of five years ago.
