About 3/4 down the section in the holes are their kids of a red erinoid limestone with curds (= [illegible] Crystalocrinus). and stems of the Scotland crinoid. Gone about or put third. Have a few curds. A green and red shale series with Lependitis and gones of curds. Also seen crooked round bits. due the Lependitias. Mine and a purple shales with circles of calcite crystals. Just below seems terrible, thus only then goes of curds at semi-crooked round bits. Many hundred put third. About five foot of limestone conglomerate with Lepen- ditia and small brachs, due list (10) Black Cope dolerite. Bonaventure conglomerate. The geological proof of Ellis' gives Devonian on each side of the Silurian. I could find no Devonian at Red Cope and then there is none in the low land of the Little Cascapedia. Here I saw Bonaventure conglomerate in loose pieces and it is possible that there have
