"Took seven views of the cliffs - 5 from the Cape Rosier plain to Cape Bon Ami and 2 of the crape. In the afternoon failed frost. Sunday Aug 20 Did nothing today but rest. Grand Sacre, Aug 21. Monday. Put in the morning along the beach below the Methodist church about one mile from Bar's house towards Ship's Head. Clarke and I collected here five years ago. Record a number of Rhynchonella pleiopleura associated with Rissellaria and Chrestella. This horizon is in the midst of the Eatonica peculiaris beds and I should think is near the middle of the Grand Sacre formation. Here also occurs large Asterifera unica. This species is distinct from
