Rode up Swede Creek 4 miles
or so to head on Hopiti Bridge to
hunt for frzels. Another rained.
Returning below a cliff we
were almost totaled by a large
rock falling from the rim.
A large gust of wind hit the
rim in a place which had slid
in the spring. It began to crumble
then stopped and we thought we
would be able to get across.
Of course just as we reached the
middle of the slide and a large
chunk let go and began to fall at
us. (Don, Bonnel, John & me) she
scampered to one side and ducked
beneath some boulders but the
big one broke into small ones
