7.30 P. M. we reached Osman
Winge house where we stopped
over night.
Near Asplund
Wednesday August 19.
Looked over a small quarry
just north of Osman Winge farm
in the Salina limestone horizon.
Fossils not numerous. A very
large Orthoceras was given me
by the quarre-man.
Then drove 2 miles west to
a large exposure in the Salina
shale horizon.
After this on our way
back to Omm Falls visited
several small exposures
