These have either been drifted here from the north or indicate the existence of Oracina stratae in this vicinity. Of trilobites he has quite a selection giving the Survey collec- tions several fine examples. Two great male gastros are to be returned to him with gatta-percha impressions. These trilobites are found in a quarry on the farm of a Mr. [illegible] about two miles of the river from Brange and he located in Iowa. The associatio
