He also showed me several
examples of Pentamerus Almyra
reserved in siliceous casts of
the interior. These have either
been drifted here from the north or
indicate the existence of Oracina
stratae in this vicinity.
Of trilobites he has quite
a selection giving the Survey collec-
tions several fine examples. Two
great male gastros are to be returned
to him with gatta-percha impressions.
These trilobites are found in
a quarry on the farm of a Mr.
[illegible] about two miles of the
river from Brange and he
