Before noon visited a
quarry in the town of Emmore
got fossils worth taking along.
In the afternoon walked
west on the C. M. & St Paul R.R
about 2 mile. Several cuts
and a quarry were examined
all in the Salina horizon. Fossils
very poor caused by the rough
crystallization and the soft nature
of the rock. Receptaculites --
abundant.
