Jamesville, N.Y. Friday July 24-91. Collected to day in two quarries one on each side of the canal just over the vehicle bridge below the C. N. & R. R. bridge. The beds exposed are the "lower buff" and the "lower blue" & beds. Fossils quite abundant and well preserved. Also looked over the rock thrown up the embankment of the canal to the woolen and cotton mills. Saw section of a small quarry to the east of the cotton mills. Jamesville, N.Y. Saturday July 25-91.
