Spent the day at Lill more, Roess Glen and Barf little mill with Rev Cynric. These localities are at the fall of a small crudi flowing into the Cave little river.
In the evening put up at the Queen Hotel at Arkona.
I am now convinced that a number of species are common to the three faunal zones of the Kirkfield Hamilton. Phacops Dana, Cystina Hamiltonian, Choeta scutula and Atyon setigera certainly occur in the lower.
The Blastoids occur in the coal zone. The crinids with Tim tagula and Margophus occur in the old shale below the coal zone, with the lingulid J. macromata, Taxoceras Artatum and L. lamia in the upper gneiss with Dimocrinus and Cystina; L. lamia and A. spirifrons from a zone over the
