In the Nacajara slabs I seeem to Lepidocorinus, Eucalyptorinus and two Stephanocorinus besides a couple of bryozoa slabs. Met Dr. J. Pettit who has a fine collection of Nacajora crinoids. He intends to give them away to the village mechanical school. Stopped over myself at the summer residence of Col. Grant at Grinnna. Sep. 18.
