Sep. 14 Spent the day in looking around Toronto and left for Hamilton at 3p.m. Sep. 15 Sunday. Wrote letters in the morning. In the afternoon called on Col. Grant! He's a pleasant aged veteran kind old man. Later we visited the quarries in the Niagara cleft and Blue ride.
