"[illegible] north of Cagyn. Rained hard during the night. Sep. 5th Started out in the cart with a buggy for a locality about six miles northeast of Cagdyn. On the road met Miss Liny a daughter of DeGow. She said her father collected on Fleming and Anderson farm. On reaching there found the locality to be the Orestan sand- tone. Concluded to stay over night and spent up at Mr. David Fleming's house. Sep. 6th Collected in the morning in the Orestan and in the afternoon in the Cohn farm of which there is not very much!
