1 below the rail-road track. Aug. 15-95 Collected along the rail-road track between Athol Spring and Ham- try on the Lake and then in the creek near the last named place to the south of the track. In the afternoon followed along the rail-road track out to Clover Bank but found nothing until a creek was followed north to the lake front and west of Clover Bank. At this place in a short interval can be seen nearly all the fossiliferous portion of the Hamilton. Aug. 16, Collected along the lake front from west of the creek last mentioned for two miles west ward. At about 1 1/2 mile below Clover Bank there is bold cliff probably 60 feet high.
